Inconsistent Syncing

Hi Support,

I'm just wondering if anything has changed recently with the API -- we're starting to see some inconsistent syncing when importing data via tools we've built to integrate the API with a 3rd party app. Just wanted to be sure before investigating things too deeply that there's not something different with the API we need to keep in mind.

Thanks!

    Nathan,

Could you give me some more specific details? Nothing currently in the API has changed, although we have been adding several new methods over the past few weeks. What data are you trying to import, which methods are you using, and how is it inconsistent?

Let me know so we can better solve this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience this is causing.

    Hi Daniel,

We're going to do some more testing today to see if we can pinpoint
anything on our side or give you any better indicators. Basically what's
been happening is that we have to do 10+ requests before the data is pulled
correctly --- in the beginning there were a few times when we had to click
our "get data" button twice to get the data but now it's very inconsistent
but we're not sure if it's something on our end or yours that had changed.

My thoughts were to reach out to you first, see if you had some details on
what's changed in the last couple months -- and then do some testing of our
scripts with that information in mind to be sure we've got a smooth sync on
    the first attempt.

    Thanks,

    Nathan Sudds

    Nathan,

When you are doing the requests, is incorrect data pulled, partial data, or
no data? When you do the 10+ requests, do you get data every time, it just
is different, or are you not receiving any data until the 10th request?
Also, on which method or methods are you experiencing these issues?

No existing methods were modified in any way. However, we have added
several new methods, so it is possible some bugs crept up. Answering the
above questions will help us further narrow down what the issue may be.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience and hope we are able to solve this issue
    quickly.

    Daniel
