Hi There,

Am trialing this software right now and am wondering if there is a way to do a custom week view? Our staff currently is on a 3 week cycle where they have a set schedule pattern for 3 weeks and then moves to another pattern.

So the 1st question is: Is there a custom view where I can see 3 week chunks?
the 2nd question is, is there logic built in where I can have employees move from one shift pattern to another shift pattern at the end of each cycle?

Answers would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi Chris,

Your best option would be to create schedule template for each pattern. To do this, set a schedule and save it using the TOOLS menu in the Scheduler.

Then simply apply the appropriate template for each subsequent week and change it up when you get to your change point.

You can only view and edit the schedule in week and day view, but you can use the Calendar Sync option to view the schedule in Google, iCal or Outlook.

Hope that helps. Thanks for checking us out.

    Thanks,

    Chad

    Thanks Chad

I'm also curious if there's a way to bulk assign, or copy shifts from one week to another.

for example we have staff that do a set of 3x12hr schedules and right now i'm finding that I have to assign each shift daily. Is there a way for me to copy the set of three and assign it to other employees?

    Hi Chris,

There is not a way to bulk assign shifts. Like Chad said, we do have schedule templates that might be useful for your schedule situation. There is also an option to copy the previous week schedule to a new schedule. By doing this you will have a schedule already inputted and you can simply move around the shifts that you want assigned to people.

    I hope that helps.

    Thanks,
    Angie
