Time-off Requests
When an employee makes a "Time-Off Request", the manager will be notified via email and/or text message. There are three ways to address a time-off request.
Requests Tab
Log in to your schedule and click the "Requests" tab from the top menu. Any pending requests will be represented with a numerical 'ticker', tell you that you have pending requests that need moderating.

Scheduler
Log in to your schedule and click the "Scheduler" tab from the top menu. Time-off requests will be represented next to the employee and on the day(s) they occur. Pending requests will say "TIME-OFF" and include an alert icon next to them indicating action is needed.

Text Message
If your alert preferences are configured to send mobile notifications, you will receive a text message when an employee makes a time-off request. The text message will look something like this:
John Doe has requested the following time off: Thu, 4/28/2011. Reply with "ACCEPT 524" or "CANCEL 524"
When you reply to the text message with the appropriate keyword, action will be taken on teh request and the employee will be notified.
