Understanding Statuses

Every request made by either a manager or employee has a status. Whether the request is for time-off, a shift swap, shift replacement or shift drop, all requests will have a status. Here are the definitions of the statuses you may find when moderating:

  1. Pending Mngmt - The request is pending acceptance by management.
  2. Pending - This status means the request is awaiting manager review or employee response.
  3. Expired - If the date/time regarding the request has past, the status is set to expired. It means nobody accepted or declined it and the scheduled shift has past.
  4. Declined - All employees the request was made to have declined.
  5. Canceled - The manager or creator of the request has canceled the request.
