Schedule Settings

There are a number of settings you can adjust to fit your schedule's needs. You can customize the branding of your schedule by uploading a logo. You can also customize how your staff uses the schedule by configuring the following settings via "Account = Schedule Settings".

Email Managers Enable this setting if you want to allow employees the option to send email to managers and other users.

Employee Sorting Set you sorting preference for how employees are listed in the scheduler.

Shift Swap & Drops Set whether you want to allow swap/drop requests to require approval by managers.

Printed Schedule This option allows you to change how your schedule is output when you print in the Scheduler.

OpenShift™ Notifications Set whether you want to be prompted to send notifications each time you create an option shift.

SplitShift™ Settings If enabled, employees can split their shifts in two. This can help when they are trying to find other co-workers to take or trade part of their shift. You can set the minimum length you'd allow for staff to split a shift.

Time-Off Requests Set whether time off-requests require a manager approval or if it automatically approves all requests.

Days Notice Required for Time-Off Requests This enables you to decide how many days in advance an employee is required to schedule a time-off request.

Availability Preferences Allows the manger to enable or disable availability preferences for employees. This can help the manger manage their employees availability so that changes can or cannot be made by the employee.

Preferred Hours Set whether or a not the employees or the mangers set their preferred hours.
